The procedure, step by step

  1. 1. Prepare certified translations

Diplomas and transcripts must be notarised and translated. Name transliteration must match your passport exactly.

  2. 2. Campus France interview in Hanoi, Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh City

Expect a language check plus questions on your study project and return plan.

  3. 3. Financial file

A savings book opened at least 3 months earlier is far stronger than a fresh deposit.

Frequently asked questions

Which French level do Vietnamese students need?

B2 (DELF/TCF) for French-taught degrees, IELTS 6.0+ for English-taught ones. Some programmes accept B1 with a language semester.

How early should I start the process?

Ten to twelve months before the intake, mostly because of translation, testing and savings-book seasoning requirements.
